Republican Primary

The Republican Party in New York City is a shadow of its Democratic rival. None of the candidates have really distinguished themselves on the issue of free trade. As much as I admire John McCain, I am distrustful of him after his support of the cumbersome campaign finance reforms. I wonder what his Supreme Court nominations would look like. Romney might pick better Supreme Court nominees. Mormons tend to be more conservative on social issues.
It will take a charismatic candidate for the Republicans to take New York's Electoral votes. They have some packaging to do. I don't see a Reagan on the horizon
