Obama sends Signal on His Foreign Policy

In the clearest signal about his foreign policy positions, Barack Hussein Obama stands alone among the three leading presidential contenders in his refusal to condemn James Earl (Jimmy) Carter's trip to Syria. In a gentle attempt to remind the elderly Jimmy Carter that he is no longer President, the Israeli government has treated Carter's visit as that of a private citizen.
Barack Obama remains silent about Carter's expressions of support for his campaign. Some have speculated that silence on Carter's part might be a greater help in founding an Obama Nation than a vocal endorsement.
