Members of the Obama campaign have been frantically calling Palestine Authority officials, pleading with them to deny reports that they had been promised
According to World Net Daily.“In a rapid response to potentially damaging Election Day news, the Obama campaign today urged Palestinian officials to deny a report that the Democratic nominee confided to Palestinian leadership that he supports their right to a capital in eastern Jerusalem.
The report is oddly reminiscent of the incident in which Obama gave a speech calling for a renegotiation of NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement. Later, he quietly told Canadian officials not to put much stock in his remarks.
There are two ways to read a report like this. You could accept the Obama version that he never promised the
Most recently, you have Obama giving a speech in which he promised to bankrupt coal power plants. The sound bite came out in an interview with a

A Lebanese newspaper, Al Akhbar reported back in July that PA officials told them they hadheard “the best things they ever heard from an American presidential candidate.” Among these things was that he”supports the rights of the Palestinians to east Jerusalem, as well as their right to a stable, sovereign state,” but that their talks should be kept confidential.
Obama would be good as a businessman who keeps two sets of books. He might even have the duplicity needed to keep a mistress. Applying these dubious skills to running the country is not something many people want. It would not surprise me if the Palestinians were insulted at being treated like someone Obama is ashamed of. To me there is little doubt that their story is true. The only question I have is what their motive was in “outing” Obama. My sneaking suspicion is that they will eventually demand more respectful treatment. How Obama’s duplicitous diplomacy will go over in other conflicts makes for interesting speculation. I hope we don’t have to find out.

My Comment on a Rejected Comment
I wrote about voter intimidation in Philadelphia and got the following comment on my Rudi Stettner website.
You are an idiot. I've lived in Philadelphia and if you expect me to believe that WHITE people are being ejected from the polls, then you've been drinking the kool-aid. I and every white person I know have cell phones and would call our representatives in a second at the first sign of trouble. If Obama wins, SHUT THE F**K UP and accept it and stop crying wolf.
Mr or Ms Anonymous, (I'll call you Annie for short), you are making the satirical part of my blogging very difficult by conforming to so many stereotypes of Obamian intolerance. Is "SHUT THE F**K UP" your version of the fairness doctrine? I am gearing up for four years of social criticism and commentary. If you want to degrade the level of political discourse by spewing garbage, then you are making my point better than I ever could have. I do not fear free speech. I hope you will open your own blog and see how many words you can type without collapsing into a spasm of profanity laced anti white bigotry. Who knows? Maybe You'll surprise me

Obama promised Jerusalem would be undivided, before he said the two parties must be the 'deciders." Putting stock in Obama's words is futile.
Philly voter intimidation: I think this incident was recorded by Fox and by cell phone:-)
